I’m a big fan of using natural products whenever possible and I’d been looking at Dr. Bronner products at Drugstore.com for some time.

Yesterday, I received the 18 in 1 soap – called “Liquid Soap”. I was a little confused by the packaging, but one suggestion said to add a squirt to a sink full of hot water. Then, dip a towel into the water and wipe your skin. Well, I’d used some really powerful sunscreen earlier in the day and had showered afterwards but still felt a bit “icky”. So, I tried it. My skin felt sooo soft and clean.

After I wiped down my arms and legs and face and neck, I used the towel to wipe off the stovetop — which worked great. I then used the remaining water to wipe down the floor! The floor isn’t slippery, nor sticky.

Now, while I reserve the right to test this product some more before giving my full endorsement… I certainly am interested in trying more of these products. The only *real* disappointment I’ve had so far in using this product is that I haven’t found the actual 18 uses anywhere, even in their FAQ’s.

I’ll be back with more on this product line soon…
Melissa

I’m pretty sensitive with smell, so take this review with a grain of salt.

I love the smell of mint and eucalyptus. So, when I found the Eucalyptus Spearming Nourishing Body Lotion (Called “Relax”) at Bath & Body Works, I had to try it.

I have it sitting next to my computer, so, when I get a little stressed (or when my hands get dry) I can quickly get a squirt and smell it. Silly, I know.

Now, I do enjoy this lotion, but the ingredients aren’t as natural as I’d like. I think, after it’s gone, I’ll stick with my old favorite: Herbal Foot Care from Arbonne.

Anyone else have thoughts about this product?

Description: Burt’s Bees offers a lightly scented body lotion with Vitamin E and Aloe for normal to dry skin.

Review: I’m a big fan of all the Burt’s Bees products and the Milk and Honey body lotion is one of my favorites.

The lotion has a very light scent that is not at all overpowering and won’t interfere with your perfume, but is nice on its own. I like to use it all over my body when I get out of the shower, and even in the summer it’s not heavy. It is safe for both adults and babies. I love to use it on my babies after their bath.

Some may not like the fact that the lotion seems watery, but in my experience, it moisturizes just as well as thicker lotions.

If you are going on vacation and want to pack light, bring this lotion along. It’s great for all members of the family from young to old, can be used as a shaving lotion, facial moisturizer and I’ve found that it even works beautifully as a light leave on conditioner for my hair.

I have one word for Arbonne’s Awaken Sea Salt Scrub. “Heaven”. I love this stuff.

The smell is perfect. Not perfumey, not flowery, just fresh. A mix of citrus and herbs.

The consistency is wonderful. You wet your skin, rub the sea salt scrub on, let the oils soak in and the aromatherapy work, and then wash it off. I’ve got to say, this is one of my favorite products for dry skin.

As far as negatives? The only one I can think of is price. It’s a little expensive compared to many over-the-counter brands. And, it has to be purchased through an Arbonne Consultant — which can sometimes be hard to find.

However, the Arbonne Awaken Sea Salt Scrub gets two thumbs up from the Natural Beauty crew here.

I’m going to start this review off by saying I’m a big fan of Tom’s of Maine. The company has great ethics and a great vision and I love many of their products.

Unfortunately, I’m not a big fan of their Natural Tartar Control & Whitening Toothpaste – Peppermint, 6 oz. I’ve tried to love it and I just can’t. You know that feeling when you brush your teeth 2 times and you still don’t feel like you can whisper to a friend? That’s how this toothpaste leaves me feeling.

Obviously, I’m a huge fan of natural products, and, like I said, Tom’s of Maine is a great company, but I just can’t give this product a good review.

If you’re using Tom’s of Natural Tartar Control & Whitening Toothpaste – Peppermint at home, please let us know what YOU think.

The Aveeno product descriptions states:

Brings out skin’s natural radiance. Helps even out skin tone and texture. Oil-free. Hypoallergenic. Soap-free. Noncomedogenic. Lifts away dirt, oil and makeup without over-drying for naturally radiant skin.

I have very sensitive skin, so I thought this would be a great product to try.

First the pros – The Aveeno cleanser comes in a nice pump and it smells wonderful. It is a pearl-looking cleanser and is very smooth. The cleanser cleaned my skin well and it felt smooth afterwards.

The cons – My face was slightly red after cleansing. If you have highly sensitive skin, this one might not be the best skin care product for you.

If you use Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser at home, please let us know what YOU think.
